Çıralı Mavi Koy is a family-run retreat in Çıralı, Antalya's protected coastal village. Instead of concrete blocks we chose wooden bungalows, and instead of hotel corridors we chose our spacious, peaceful garden.
By day, swim on the shore where loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta caretta) nest; in the afternoon, lose yourself among the ruins of Olympos; in the evening, watch the flames of Yanartaş (Mount Chimaera).

We found this place by chance; prices in Çıralı can run high, but this was the most reasonable. The bungalows were spotless. I have to mention the kitchen separately: we've stayed in bungalows every summer for years, and this was the cleanest kitchen I've ever seen — it even has air conditioning, which makes cooking genuinely comfortable. The owner is warm and helpful with everything.
